The Eastside Culture Crawl Society (ECCS) hosted Displacement Forum to bring attention to the fact that the stock of available studio space is rapidly shrinking in Vancouver. According to the report that ECCS published this year, we have lost 400,000 square feet of studio space in the last ten years. I was invited to speak on the panel as I co-founded 901 Artists Cooperative twelve years ago after running a campaign to try to save the studio space at 901 Main.
